It has been a long job with around 500 square feet of wood to clean, heat guns and scrapers being the most efficient method. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2374\" src=\"https:\/\/furnessrailway.co.uk\/about\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/20211201_144525A-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Phil Burton scraping away the old canvas bonding compound . Given the current Covid situation, it was agreed that Alan and Tim would this year play Christmas songs and carols at the entrance to the museum rather than on the trains.
