New plugs are on order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/furnessrailway.co.uk\/ciac\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/20250208_152907-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Andy Booth working in FR 20's firebox\" class=\"wp-image-1608\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Work has continued on the overhaul of Great Western Railway 0-6-2T No.<br>5643 with rust being removed from the side tanks in readiness for new paint.<br>It should not be too long now before work on fitting new cylinder liners takes<br>place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Member Jo Booth appeared last Wednesday with his scratch built \u2018O\u2019 gauge<br>LMS \u2018Pacific\u2019 No. 46222 Queen Mary, a quite amazing piece of work<br>considering he only started on the project last August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/furnessrailway.co.uk\/ciac\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/20250205_113509-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Jo Booth's new pride and joy\" class=\"wp-image-1609\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Sam Middleton, Chris Rycroft, Jimmy Dutton, and Mike Stewart spent Saturday at Cheltenham on a<br>BESTT tubing course. Sam is seen here at work.
