More work has also taken place on Peckett 0-4-0ST Caliban\u2019s cab. With 550 stays to replace on Great Western Railway 0-6-2T No. 5643\u2019s firebox, it\u2019s not surprising that we have another photo of the ongoing work, this time with Ron and Ed tapping out some more stay holes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/furnessrailway.co.uk\/ciac\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/20250312_121245AA-843x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Ed and Ron tapping out more stay holes on 5643's firebox\" class=\"wp-image-1684\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Meanwhile, John Dixon has been seen crawling into one of the side tanks.
